As the Founder & CEO of Listen Learn Lead LLC, I am passionate about helping aspiring and senior leaders realize their full leadership potential. Not just because it will make a difference for them, but because it will ultimately make a difference for their organizations and their customers. We need more skilled leaders in the world - women and men who listen and learn, and lead with passion - setting the example, defining missions, driving outcomes.
Having spent almost 30 years at Accenture in multiple leadership roles, both while it was a partnership and as a publicly traded company, and as the CEO of a small minority owned IT services company, and recently as an IBM business unit leader, my thinking about leadership and what makes an effective, admired and inspiring leader has evolved and matured. Listen Learn Lead is about sharing the perspectives, the models and the tools that effective leaders use to lead themselves, to lead others and to lead organizations.
While at Accenture I served on the Executive Leadership Team and served as President of the Accenture Foundation and as a director on the board of Accenture Development Partners. I'm passionate about education and sit on the board of Trustees of Stevens Institute of Technology my alma mater, and on the board of Washington MedStar Hospital Center. I serve on the Board of Advisors for Aarete and the Board of Trustees of EWAAB.
